John Murray
I was born and bred in Brisbane, Australia. My family is very loving and supportive. I have great friends. I have had the opportunity to study at university in the areas of theology, politics, psychology and social work. My studies were mainly in Australia but also spent three years at London University. I am a member of the Order of St Augustine and was ordained a priest in 1987. I have worked since then in parishes and schools in Australia. I have had experience living and working as a priest in both Ecuador and the Philippines. They were my training ground for my present mission assignment in Thailand where I work in the areas of development and migrant / refugee issues.
